Stop and Dwell Motion

- Challenge:
- Utilize stop, dwell, or reverse motion with a constant input velocity.
- Solution:
- Combine continuously rotating non-circular gears with round gears and
differentials. Varying the ratio of the round gears enables the gear velocity
curve to be translated along the velocity axis. The non-circular gears
could provide a two-speed function, momentary stop, stop and dwell, or
reversed motion, depending on the round gears being used.
